Ingredients

  • 1 Ribeye steak with bone (approximately 24 ounces) room temperature
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive or canola oil
  • 3-4 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 Garlic cloves, smashed
  • Fresh thyme and rosemary

Instructions

  • Pat the steak dry and season with salt and pepper
  • Heat a cast-iron skillet, add oil and butter, sear the steak
  • Add garlic, thyme, and rosemary, baste with butter
  • Cook to desired doneness
