How about this 5-ingredient Brown Sugar Walnut Candy? Yeah? Awesome! You read it right! All you need for this recipe are 5 basic ingredients that I am pretty sure that you have in your home right now. Give it a try, friends, and be amazed by how those simple ingredients could turn into something unforgettable. You are more than welcome to tweak this recipe. 1-pound brown sugar
¾ cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped walnuts
Step 1: Brush butter in an 8 or 9-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Place a large heavy saucepan on the stove and add the evaporated milk and brown sugar.
Step 3: Turn the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 4: Cook the milk mixture until 112 degrees C.
Step 5: Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the walnuts, butter, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Use a sturdy spoon to beat the mixture until the gloss is gone.
Step 7: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 8: Cut into squares using a knife.
Step 9: Place them in a resealable bag and place it inside the fridge to chill.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
