Taco sticks, anyone? If you are looking for a quick and easy recipe to serve for snacks, then you have got to give this one a try! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat!
Ingredients:
1-lb lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 tube refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough
5 Colby jack cheese sticks cut in half
1/4 c butter melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dry parsley
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 425 F degrees.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray on a large baking sheet.
Step 3: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add the ground beef. Stir and cook until brown.
Step 5: Discard any accumulated grease.
Step 6: Add the taco seasoning and stir until well combined.
Step 7: Remove from the heat and let it sit at room temperature to cool.
Step 8: Put the pizza dough on a flat surface. Slice it into two lengthwise and cut it into 10 rectangle pieces.
Step 9: Add 1 spoonful of the taco meat in the middle of each dough piece followed by a Colby Jack cheese stick.
Step 10: Roll the dough to make a breadstick.
Step 11: Arrange the taco sticks onto the greased baking sheet.
Step 12: In a small mixing bowl, add the garlic powder, butter, and dried parsley. Stir until well mixed.
Step 13: Brush each taco breadstick with the mixture.
Step 14: Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes at 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F or until golden brown.
Step 15: Remove from the oven and allow the breadsticks to cool it room temperature.
Step 16: Serve and enjoy!
