This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma used to cook this every time we visited her. It was amazing how she worked around the kitchen. I am so grateful to her for teaching me this very easy dish. Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try. You are so in for a treat! Feel free to add more ingredients if you want. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 32 ounces bag frozen diced potatoes
1 medium onion diced
1 c sour cream
1 10.5 ounces can cream of chicken soup
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper
4 tablespoons butter melted
2 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Step 1: Add the potatoes, sour cream, soup, onions, butter, garlic powder, 1 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper into a crockpot.
Step 2: Cover the crockpot with a lid and cook for about 4 hours on a low setting.
Step 3: Uncover and add the rest of the shredded cheese on top.
Step 4: Put the cover back and allow the cheese to melt for about 15 minutes.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
