I know you have a recipe for mac and cheese but this one that I am sharing with you today will surely be the best! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese you will add. Just do it and thank me later! Okay, enough with the long introduction. Ingredients:
3 large eggs
2 c evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons salted butter melted
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2-lb cooked elbow macaroni
2 c extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a square baking dish.
3. Add eggs into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until creamy.
4. Add butter, evaporated milk, hot sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
5. Add 1/2 of the macaroni into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
6. Add 1/2 of the egg mixture over the noodles and spread it evenly.
7. Add 1/2 of the cheese mixture over the egg mixture and spread it evenly.
8. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.
9. Top the cheese mixture with paprika.
10. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until done.
11. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
12. Serve warm and enjoy!
