Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef, chicken, or pork
1 tbsp oil
1 large onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c quick-cooking rice
1 small cabbage, chopped
1 can(s) diced tomatoes, 28 oz
1 can(s) plain tomato sauce, 8 oz
3/4 c water
1 tsp each salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the ground beef meat and onion. Cook until brown and soft.
3. Add the garlic and saute until aromatic.
4. Add the rice and stir until well combined. Cook for another minute.
5. Add the tomato, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
6. Add water and the chopped cabbage. Stir until well mixed, then bring it to a boil.
7. Remove from the heat and transfer everything into a slow cooker.
8. Cover the slow cooker.
9. Prepare the oven and preheat to 300 degrees F.
10. Place the cabbage rolls inside the preheated oven and cook for about 3 hours.
11. Serve and enjoy!
