This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma used to make these delicious treats all the time! I learned how to cook this dish when I was around 10 years old. Since then, I’ve been making it all the time! With this very minimal set of ingredients, you will have the best meal today! Ingredients:
8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 4 pounds)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice (or lime juice)
5 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
6 cloves garlic (minced)
½ tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
2 tsp kosher salt (plus more to taste)
Directions:
1. Add the olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, soy, garlic, salt, and pepper into a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
2. Add the chicken and stir until coated completely with the sauce.
3. Put the bowl inside the fridge and let the chicken marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
4. Preheat to oven to 450 degrees F.
5. Empty the bowl into a baling dish and spread it evenly.
6. Put it inside the oven and bake the chicken for half an hour.
7. Broil for three more minutes until brown.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
