These Baked Breaded Pork Chops will surely make your day extra special! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Feel free to tweak this recipe a bit to your liking. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil or as needed
1/4 c flour
4 pork chops boneless centre loin, 1″ thick
1/2 c Italian breadcrumbs
1 egg whisked
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 218 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
2. Line with parchment paper a rimmed baking sheet.
3. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
4. Add flour and a bit of salt into another mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
5. In a separate mixing bowl, add cracked eggs and beat until smooth.
6. Use paper towels to pat dry the pork chops, then coat each with flour, egg, and breadcrumb mixture. Shake off any excess.
7. Place a frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
8. Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
9. Add the pork chops and sear each side for about a minute or until they turn golden brown.
10. Transfer the pork chops onto the prepared baking sheet.
11. Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the pork chops for about 12 to 14 minutes or until done.
12. Remove from the oven and allow the pork chops to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
13. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
If you are going to use Panko breadcrumbs for this recipe, make sure to season it with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
I used boneless pork chops for this recipe.
Make sure to check the doneness of the pork chops. Do not overbake them.
