These heavenly treats never fail to amaze me every time! Made with simple ingredients, these Thin and Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies are insanely delicious! This is a must-try recipe that you should not skip. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Full Recipe:
2 c Flour
1 c Cake or Pastry Flour
1 c Sugar
2 large eggs
1 ½ c Chocolate Chips
1 ½ c Brown Sugar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 ½ c Butter (3 cubes, melted in a saucepan)
1 ½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ c Chocolate Chunks (chopped from a bar)
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
Small Half Recipe:
¾ c Chocolate Chips
¼ c Chocolate Chunks (cut from a chocolate bar)
1 c Flour
¾ c Brown Sugar
¾ c Butter (melted in a saucepan)
1 large egg
½ tsp Baking Powder
¾ tsp Salt
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ c Sugar
½ c Cake or Pastry Flour
½ tsp Baking Soda
Directions:
1. Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
2. Add butter, then allow it to melt and turns brown.
3. Transfer the melted butter to a large bowl. Cover it with something and place it inside the fridge to chill for about 15 to 20 minutes.
4. In the bowl with the butter, add cream and sugar. Beat until well blended.
5. Add eggs gradually and beat every addition until well incorporated.
6. Add vanilla and stir until well blended.
7. Add flour, baking powder, cake flour, salt, and baking soda. Whisk until well mixed.
8. Add chocolate chunks and chocolate chips, then stir until well incorporated.
9. Wrap the bowl with plastic, then place it inside the fridge to chill for 30 minutes or a day or two.
10. Remove the dough from the fridge and let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes.
11. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
12. Transfer the cookie dough to the prepared pans and spread it evenly.
13. Place the pans inside the preheated oven and bake the dough for about 11 to 13 minutes or until done.
14. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
15. Serve and enjoy!
