This easy Amish Cinnamon Bread is very hassle-free to make! It doesn’t need kneading! Just mix everything in a mixing bowl, transfer into the prepared pans, and bake! In just about 2 hours, you can enjoy the incredible taste of this bread! Serve it with your favorite cup of coffee. You are so in for a treat!
Ingredients:
For the Bread:
2 c buttermilk
2 large Eggs
4 c all-purpose flour
2 c granulated sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c (2 sticks) Challenge butter, softened
For the Topping:
2 tsp ground cinnamon
⅔ c of granulated sugar
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to two loaf pans.
3. Add eggs, butter, vanilla, and sugar into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
4. Add baking soda, buttermilk, and flour. Whisk until well incorporated.
5. In another mixing bowl, add the ingredients for the topping. Whisk until well mixed.
6. Fill each prepared pan with the batter. Sprinkle 3/4 of the topping over the batter. Repeat the process with the rest of the batter and topping.
7. Make curl marks over the batter.
8. Place the loaf pans inside the preheated oven and bake the batter for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
9. Remove the bread from the oven and let them cool for 20 minutes at room temperature.
10. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge or freezer. This bread can last up to 6 months in the freezer.
