I am so excited to share this recipe with you today! These Lunch Lady Brownies are perfect to eat pretty much any time of the day! Every bite is very satisfying because of the moist texture. Ingredients:
FOR THE BROWNIES:
1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 c all-purpose flour
2 Eggs
1/2 c butter, melted
3 tsp vanilla extract
1 c of granulated sugar
FOR THE FROSTING:
3 tbsp milk
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
2 tbsp butter, softened
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Line foil into a 9×9-inch baking pan.
3. Add butter and sugar into a bowl, then beat until well blended.
4. Add vanilla and eggs, then beat until well combined.
5. Add cocoa powder and flour, then whisk until well mixed.
6. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
7. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle. Make sure not to overbake.
8. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
For the Frosting:
1. Add powdered sugar, butter, cocoa powder, and milk into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended. Add more milk if the texture is too dry.
2. Pour the frosting over the cake and spread it evenly. Let it rest for a few more minutes.
3. Slice into even squares
