With simple ingredients and easy steps, this recipe is surely a must-try! Eat these cookies with your favorite cup of coffee, sit on your front porch, and just simply enjoy life as it is!
Ingredients:
2 c flour
1 c uncooked rolled oats
1 c butter
1 c white chocolate chips
1 Egg
1 c dark brown sugar (may add up to 1/4 cup more if desired
1 Egg yolk
1⁄2 tsp baking soda
1⁄2 tsp salt
1 c chocolate chips (I like dark)
1⁄4 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄2 c granulated sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions:
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add butter and allow it to melt. Remove from the heat.
In a mixing bowl, add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Stir everything until well blended. Place the bowl in the fridge to chill for at least 10 minutes.
Remove the bowl from the fridge, then add the vanilla, egg yolk, and egg. Stir until well incorporated.
In another mixing bowl, add 1/2 tsp salt, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda. Whisk until well incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Make 24 small balls out of the mixture. Arrange them in a single layer onto a cookie sheet.
Place the balls in the fridge to chill for half an hour.
Prepare the oven and preheat to about 325 degrees F.
Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake them for about 12 to 14 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge.
