Not just the best, but the perfect fried rice ever! This recipe has always been a part of my life for a very long time! It is something I cook pretty much all the time if I’m craving fried rice. This is best served as is or with any protein you love. Try serving this with a fried pork chop or just crispy bacon, and you have yourself a meal to remember! In just 20 minutes, you can enjoy the most amazing fried rice. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 Egg – whisked
½ tsp ground ginger – (optional)
3 green onions – diced
⅓ c soy sauce
4 c cooked brown or white rice
1 c frozen peas and diced carrots
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the vegetables into the hot skillet, then sauté for a few minutes until soft.
Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet, then add in the egg and scramble for a few minutes. Stir everything until well incorporated.
Add the rice and soy sauce, then toss until the rice is well coated with the ingredients. Cook for about 6 minutes.
Add the rest of the seasonings and stir until well blended.
Remove the skillet from the heat, then add the green onions on top of the rice to garnish.
Serve right away. Enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last up to five days.
Reheat leftovers for a few minutes just until warm.
