Tender meat smothered in a delicious sauce; this recipe is a total crowd favorite! Everyone is going to love this savory dish! You can serve it shredded to go with anything! Ingredients:
½ tsp Salt
1 clove Garlic; crushed
2 lbs. Pork tenderloin
2 tbsp Soy sauce
¼ c Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp Cornstarch
½ c Water
1 tsp ground sage
¼ tsp Pepper
½ c Brown sugar
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add garlic, pepper, salt, and sage. Whisk until well incorporated. Sprinkle the mixture over the pork tenderloin, then rub it until fully coated.
Add 1/2 cup of water into a slow cooker, then put the tenderloin on top. Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the tenderloin for about 6 to 8 hours on a low setting.
Prepare the glaze by adding water, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce into a small pan. Stir until well blended.
Put the saucepan on the stove, then turn the heat to medium. Stir and simmer the sauce for about 4 minutes or until thick.
Brush the roast about 3 times with the glaze about an hour before the cooking time ends.
Serve with the rest of the glaze. Enjoy!
Notes:
You can broil the tenderloin. Transfer it onto a sheet pan, then brush it with the glaze. Broil for about 2 minutes.
Cooking the tenderloin in low heat makes it more flavorful and tender!
Feel free to shred the tenderloin before serving.
