Ingredients:
The Cake:
¼ c butter – melted
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
1 large Egg
¾ c milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
½ c granulated sugar
The Cinnamon Swirl:
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ c light brown sugar–packed
½ c butter – softened
The Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 ounces cream cheese – softened
1-2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter – softened
1 c confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Coat with butter the inside of an 8×8-inch baking dish.
For the Cake:
Add egg, vanilla, milk, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well incorporated.
Add melted butter and stir until well blended.
Transfer the batter to the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
Add all the ingredients for the cinnamon swirl into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Spoon the mixture on top of the batter and spread it evenly.
Place it in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
Add cream cheese and butter into a mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add milk, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla. Stir until well incorporated.
Drizzle the frosting over the warm cake and spread it evenly. Let it rest for a few more minutes.

Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. They can last up to 4 days or 3 months in the freezer.
