These thick, rich, and chocolaty dark fudge is the perfect party treat. These are also awesome to give as gifts.
Ingredients
14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. butter
3 c. semi-sweeten chocolate chips
How to make Easy Fudge
Step 1: Using foil, line an 8 x 8-inch square baking pan. For easy removal, make sure to bring the foil up over the sides of the pan. Using nonstick cooking spray, lightly grease the foil. Set aside.
Step 2: In a saucepan, place the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Over medium-low heat, heat the fudge mixture, stirring constantly for about 7 to 8 minutes using a spatula until the chocolate and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth. At this point, the mixture should have a frosting-like consistency.
Step 3: Into the prepared pan, pour the fudge. Using the back of a spoon, evenly spread the fudge. Keep the fudge in the fridge overnight until fully firm.
Step 4: Once the fudge is set, lift the foil carefully and transfer the fudge to a cooking board. Then, peel the foil from the sides. Cut the fudge into squares using a large, sharp knife. Between each cut, wipe the chocolate from the knife.
Notes:
1. You can place the fudge in the freezer to let it set more quickly.
2. Keep any leftovers in an airtight container and store them in the fridge.
