I love Reese’s peanut butter cups! I always make sure to have a stash at home. I have been looking for a homemade version and this Homemade Peanut Butter Cups recipe is a must-try! Incredibly easy to make using just a couple of simple ingredients. I love that I can make these butter cups in muffin tins. I whip up extra filling and store it in the fridge to use later. Or you can make this into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Simply spread the filling on the bottom of the pan and the chocolate on top.
To make these copycats of Reese’s peanut butter cups, all you need are Graham crackers, melted butter, peanut butter, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. I have tried different peanut butter cups recipe, but this recipe has been my favorite and go-to! Whenever my cravings for something sweet and salty hit, I always reach out to these Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!
Ingredients
2 cups Graham crackers, crushed
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
How to make Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Step 1: Using paper liners, line your muffin tins and grease them with cooking spray.
Step 2: Combine the butter with Graham crackers, confectioners’ sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter until well-mixed. Into the bottom of the prepared muffin tins, press about 1-1 1/2 tablespoons of the mixture.
Step 3: In the meantime, melt the chocolate chips and 4 tbsp peanut butter.
Step 4: Spoon the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the filling, smoothing the tops using a spoon.
Step 5: Place in the fridge to chill until set.
Tip:
This recipe yields 17 regular-sized peanut butter cups. For smaller portions, you can also make these in a mini-muffin tip.
