How to make Ham Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders
Step 1: Whisk the eggs and milk in a bowl until well combined. To taste, season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat and swirl around to coat the bottom of the skillet.
Step 3: Add the eggs once the butter is barely bubbling and cook for 20 to 30 seconds until the eggs begin to set. Swipe a spatula around the edges of the pan to make large soft curds. Gently push and fold the eggs to make curds. This takes about 2 to 3 minutes. Do this until they are set and still a bit wet. Quickly remove the curds from the heat.
Step 4: Using cooking spray, lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Step 5: In half horizontally, cut the rolls using a serrated knife. On the top and bottom halves, carefully spread a thin layer of mayonnaise. In the prepared baking dish, place the bottom slab of bread. Over the bread, arrange the sliced ham, then evenly spoon the scrambled eggs on top.
Step 6: Cover the eggs with the cheese slices. Over the cheese, place the top slab of the bread.
Step 7: Place the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and poppy seeds in a small bowl. Mix well until combined. Then, brush this over the rolls.
Step 8: Tent the dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven to bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Step 9: Take the sliders out of the oven when done and slice them into individual pieces.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
