How to make Lemon Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Ready a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Grease and set aside.
Step 2: In a large bowl, beat the eggs using an electric mixer. Then, add the cake mix along with the pudding mix, water, and oil. Mix well until blended.
Step 3: Into a baking pan, pour the cake batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Step 4: In the meantime, prepare the soaking syrup. Place the melted butter, lemon juice, water, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Mix well until combined.
Step 5: Remove the cake from the oven when done and poke holes all over the cake using a skewer or fork. Over the warm cake, pour the soaking syrup. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
Step 6: Slice and serve. Enjoy!
