My mom recently bought an Air Fryer and she’s obsessed! I shared some of my favorite Air Fryer recipes with her and this Chicken Parmesan recipe is the first she tried. And my mom is raving about this dish since! She loved how this Chicken Parmesan tastes every bit as great as the traditional version but with less effort! No turning the oven anymore, just like the breaded chicken into your air fryer basket, and wallah! You have the best dinner that your entire family will ask for over and over again! Enjoy this Chicken Parmesan any time with your favorite side dishes with this easy recipe.
Ingredients
⅓ c. panko breadcrumbs
4 chicken cutlets
2 eggs, lightly beaten
⅓ c. all-purpose flour
⅓ c. Italian bread crumbs
⅓ c. grated Parmesan cheese
1½ c. shredded mozzarella cheese
½ c. spaghetti sauce
HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER CHICKEN PARMESAN
Step 1: In the first shallow dish, place the flour, then the eggs in the second bowl. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Italian breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
Step 2: Into the flour, dip the chicken cutlets and dredge in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 3: In the air fryer basket, place 2 coated chicken cutlets and top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Set to cook for 6 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Step 4: On each cutlet, spread 2 tablespoons of the spaghetti sauce and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Set to cook for another 5 to 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Step 5: Do the same with the rest of the cutlets.
