This will probably the best cake you will ever make! This will also be the perfect gift to give to a very special person in your life. What I love the most about this cake is the Arametto glaze! Oh, my, you have got to give this one a try and taste it yourself. I always make this whenever I have guests over. Aside from the delicious flavours, it is also very easy to make. Just follow all these steps and you are good to go!
1 ¼ c butter, softened
1 (3-ounces) package cream cheese, softened
2 ½ c sugar
3 tbsp almond liqueur
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 ½ c all-purpose flour
6 large Eggs
⅓ c sliced almonds
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 325 degrees F.
Step 2: In the bowl of an electric mixer, add the cream cheese and butter. Beat at medium speed until well combined.
Step 3: Add in sugar gradually and beat every addition.
Step 4: Add in vanilla and liqueur. Beat until well combined.
Step 5: Add in flour gradually and beat every addition until well mixed.
Step 6: Add in eggs gradually and beat until well mixed.
Step 7: Apply baking spray and flour in a 12-cup Bundt pan.
Step 8: Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
Step 9: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 10: Prepare the Amaretto Glaze.
Step 11: Remove the cake from the oven and spread the Amaretto Glaze on top of the cake.
Step 12: Place the cake on a wire rack to cool for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
