While most people are aware of the health benefits of oats and the recommendation to consume them regularly, their taste could be objectionable. I believe that oats may be yummy when combined with our favorite fruits. Apples with cinnamon are my favorite! I can’t think of a more delicious breakfast to make than this Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal.
My go-to breakfast recipe is Apple Cinnamon Muffins, and I always find a way to turn it into so much more! I can’t ask for a more convenient or tasty breakfast than this. Rolling oats, bananas, eggs, milk, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and apple are some of the few ingredients required to make this delicious, healthy treat. Quite a few of these are probably already in your pantry.
2 c. rolled oats, old fashioned
2 bananas, medium ripe
1 tsp baking powder
½ c. milk
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 apple, peeled and diced
Pinch of salt
How to make Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Using 12 liners line a standard muffin pan. Set aside.
Step 3: Place the banana in a medium bowl and mash using a fork.
Step 4: Add the egg and beat well. Next, stir in the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, milk, and a pinch of salt until well incorporated.
Step 5: Fold in the diced apple.
Step 6: Into the prepared muffin pan, divide the batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the muffin comes out clean.
