I can’t count how many times I made these Bacon Wrapped Chicken Strips. My kids love them so much that’s why I always make sure to have all the ingredients ready! These delicious treats are perfect for any occasion. They may not be the healthiest treats, but I assure you that they are to most satisfying! Ready in half an hour, this recipe is one to try! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1.15 pounds Package of Tyson chicken tenders usually 8 strips
Fresh cracked pepper
Salt
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
8 slices of Wright Applewood bacon
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add a bit of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add salt, Dijon mustard, pepper, and maple syrup into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Place the chicken strips into the bowl with the syrup mixture. Toss until completely coated.
Wrap each chicken strip with bacon. Place them into the hot skillet and sprinkle a bit of salt on top.
Cook each side for a few minutes just until they turn golden brown. Remove from the heat.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the Bacon Wrapped Chicken Strips for about 15 to 17 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use an oven-proof pan for this recipe if you do not have a cast-iron skillet.
