4 sweet potatoes medium size, long and thin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with parchment paper a large baking sheet.
Step 3: Wash the dry sweet potatoes and use paper towels to pat them dry.
Step 4: Use a fork to poke small holes all over every potato.
Step 5: Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle salt all over the sweet potatoes.
Step 6: Use your hands to rub each potato to coat them well with the oil and salt.
Step 7: Arrange the sweet potatoes onto the lined baking sheet.
Step 8: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
Step 9: Remove the potatoes from the oven and allow them to sit at room temperature for at least 5 minutes to cool.
Step 10: Slice each sweet potato into two and top each with your preferred toppings.
