1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
How to make Banana Bread Brownies
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees. Ready a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan. Grease, flour, and set aside.
Step 2: In a large bowl, place the eggs, sugar, butter, and sour cream. Mix well until creamy. Then, add the bananas and vanilla extract. Mix well until incorporated. Next, add the salt along with the baking soda and extra flour. Beat well for a few minutes, then fold in the walnuts.
Step 3: Into the prepared pan, spread the batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 4: In the meantime, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to boil and become brownish. When done, quickly take the pan off the heat. Then, add the vanilla extract along with the powdered sugar and milk. Mix well until fully blended and the mixture is smooth. At this point, the frosting should have a thick consistency.
Step 5: Remove the bars from the oven when done and set aside until warm. Then, pour the frosting on top.
Step 6: Once the frosting is set, slice the bar into squares. Enjoy!
Tips:
I suggest frosting the bar while still warm.
I do not recommend frosting the bar right after coming out of the oven or it’ll melt and ruin the consistency of the butter.
You can store these brownies in the fridge for a few days. Before serving, warm them up.
