Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops, 1-inch thick
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder, or onion powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
fresh parsley and thyme, optional garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Remove the pork chops from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Step 2: Use paper towels to pat them dry.
Step 3: Add the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika to a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Step 4: Rub each pork chop with olive oil, then followed with the mixed seasonings. Make sure to coat each chop well.
Step 5: Put a large cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 6: Spread 1 tablespoon of oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 7: Add the seasoned pork chops and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until nicely brown.
Step 8: Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a clean plate. Cover and allow them to sit for about 5 minutes at room temperature.
Step 9: Sprinkle minced parsley on top.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
