How to make Cajun Shrimp Sausage Skillet
Step 1: In a large pan, heat the olive oil on medium-high heat.
Step 2: Once the oil is hot, add the onion and bell peppers to the pan. Saute for about 4 to 5 minutes until tender. Then, toss in the garlic and continue to cook for another 30 seconds.
Step 3: To taste, season the vegetables. Remove from the heat and keep the veggies warm.
Step 4: In the same pan, add the shrimp and sausage. Then, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and the sausage is completely heated.
Step 5: Return the veggies to the pan. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir and let everything simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 6: Before serving, garnish with some parsley. Enjoy!
