Ingredients:
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 c shredded Parmesan cheese
1 pound orzo uncooked
Salt to taste
1-2 garlic cloves, grated
1 pint of heavy whipping cream
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Place a saucepan on the stove.
3. Add the heavy cream, then turn the heat to medium-high. Allow the heavy cream to become hot.
4. Add the grated garlic, then stir until well mixed.
5. Add 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese and stir until well blended.
6. Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
7. Add orzo and a bit of salt, then cook for a few minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Put the pasta back into the pot.
8. Add the cheesy cream over the pasta, then toss until well coated.
9. Brush a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
10. Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
11. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.
12. Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
13. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
14. Serve warm and enjoy!
