This salad recipe was given to me by my dear friend, Pacey! Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try! I know there are a lot of Chicken Salad Recipe out there but this one truly is special! I don’t know but for some reason, this recipe is simply the best! I am so glad that I gave this one a try because I never would have tasted pure joy! Well, as perfect as this recipe is, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! 1 c Mayonnaise (6ounces by scale weight)
½ c Sour Cream (4ounces by scale weight)
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard (1ounce by scale weight)
1 tablespoon Dill Weed
2 teaspoons Sugar
½ teaspoon White Pepper
5 teaspoons Lemon Juice
3 c chopped Poached Chicken
1 c finely chopped Celery
4 tablespoons finely chopped Green Onions
½ c shelled Sunflower Seeds
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add the sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill weed, sugar, and white pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Slice the poached chicken into small cuts.
Step 3: Add the sliced chicken, green onions, celery, and sunflowers seeds into the bowl with the salad dressing. Toss until everything is well coated with the dressing.
Step 4: Place the bowl inside the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.
Step 5: Serve chilled and enjoy!
