1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ devil’s food cake mix
1 1/3 c buttermilk
1/2 c vegetable oil
1 bag (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 c caramel topping
1/2 c Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour in a 13×9-inch pan.
Step 3: Add the buttermilk, eggs, oil, and cake mix into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well combined.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Step 5: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press them a bit.
Step 6: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 43 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Step 8: Apply cooking spray on a meat fork.
Step 9: Use the greased meat fork to poke small holes over the cake.
Step 10: Spread the caramel mixture on top of the cake. Make sure to fill each hole. Allow it to cool for 1 hour.
Step 11: Add the frosting into a microwavable bowl. Place it inside the microwave and heat for 30 seconds or until melted.
Step 12: Drizzle the frosting over the cooled cake.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
Place any leftovers inside the fridge.
