Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge

I am so impressed by this simple recipe! A very hassle-free fudge recipe that kids love! Add this to your list of treats to serve on Christmas. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

⅓ c margarine, melted
⅔ c light brown sugar, packed
1 pinch salt
¾ c all-purpose flour
¼ c semisweet mini chocolate chips
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz) package confectioners’ sugar
1 c semisweet mini chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Step 1: Line with aluminium foil a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, melted margarine, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Add in the flour and stir until well combined.

Step 4: Add in ¼ cup of chocolate chips and stir until well blended.

Step 5: Shape the dough into a small disk with ¾ or ½-inch thickness.

Step 6: Put the dough on plastic wrap and use your hands to shape it into a square.

Step 7: Place it inside the freezer and chill for 10 minutes.

Step 8: Slice the cold dough into 1/2 –inch squares.

Step 9: Put them back inside the fridge.

Step 10: In a medium mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar. Stir until well combined.

Step 11: Add in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed.

Step 12: Add in the pieces of cookie dough and stir until well combined.

Step 13: Transfer it into the prepared baking dish and place it inside the fridge to chill for 1 hour.

Step 14: Remove from the foil and slice it into small squares.

Step 15: Serve and enjoy!
