1 1/2 c Water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
3 1/4 c Flour (4.06 c of spelt )
1 1/2 tsp yeast
Step 1: Refer to the directions provided on the bread machine on how to add all the ingredients.
Step 2: Press the “dough cycle” button, then start. The texture of the dough should be a bit sticky.
Step 3: Transfer the dough onto a flat surface sprinkled with flour. Cover the dough with a bowl, then allow it to sit for about 15 minutes.
Step 4: Sprinkle flour on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Step 5: Cut the dough into two and shape each into a ball.
Step 6: Put the balls of dough into the prepared baking sheets.
Step 7: Cover the balls of dough and allow them to double their sizes for about 45 minutes.
Step 8: Prepare the oven and preheat to 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F.
Step 9: Place the dough inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until done. Make sure to sprinkle water over the bread from time to time. Water makes the crust crispy.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
Step 11: Serve warm and enjoy!
