INGREDIENTS
3 large eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
1 unbaked pie shell
vanilla ice cream, optional
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
How to Make Classic Amish Oatmeal Pie
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using an unbaked pie crust, line a pie dish.
Step 2: Place the brown sugar, oats, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well, then stir in the milk followed by the beaten eggs, butter, and vanilla extract.
