Throw this appetizer together with minimal effort. To make these cream cheese-wrapped olives, you can either use large cocktail olives or regular olives. They both work perfectly! These Cream Cheese Wrapped Olives are always a huge hit at parties. Even the little ones love these!
INGREDIENTS
8 ounces of cream cheese, at room temperature
1 jar green olives (pimento or garlic stuffed if desired)
1/2 c. walnuts, crushed
1/2 tsp garlic salt
How to make Cream Cheese Wrapped Olives
Step 1: Place the cream cheese, garlic salt, and 2 tbsp of olive brine from the jar in a medium bowl. Combine using an electric mixer until smooth. Place in the fridge to chill for about 30 minutes until firm.
Step 2: Wrap the olives once the mixture has chilled. To do this, first, pat an olive dry. Then, scoop out a little of the cream cheese mixture. Around the olives, press the cream cheese until fully wrapped before rolling in the crushed walnuts.
Step 3: Do the same for the rest of the olives.
Step 4: Place them in the fridge to chill until firm.
Step 5: When ready, slice the olives in half if desired. Serve right away. Enjoy!
