This Creamy Chicken Bake never fails to satisfy all my cravings! A very easy dish that I’m sure you can pull off! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup (10 3/4 oz., condensed) *Or make Homemade Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup, an equivalent amount
2 1/2 to 3 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (I use 4 large breasts)
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10 3/4 oz., condensed) *Or make Homemade Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, using an equivalent amount
1/2 c Water
1 tsp chives (chopped)
1 c Sour Cream
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
8 oz can Mushrooms drained (stems and pieces – or use fresh) *optional
Salt and Pepper to taste
Few dashes of Paprika
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
3. Arrange the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Season with a bit of salt and pepper.
4. In a mixing bowl, add onion powder, soups, chives, sour cream, water, and mushrooms. Stir until well mixed.
5. Spread the mixture on top of the chicken breasts, then sprinkle paprika.
6. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until done.
7. Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
8. Serve over noodles or rice. Enjoy!
Note:
Garnish with freshly chopped onion chives.
