Ingredients:
1 pound Chicken Breast cut into bite-size pieces
1 lb. Smoked Sausage kielbasa, farmers sausage, garlic sausage, etc.
1 lb. Shrimp raw and shells removed
1 Onion diced
1 Green pepper diced
1 Hot pepper (jalapeno, serrano, scotch bonnet, habanero, etc.)
3 ribs Celery diced
28 oz Diced tomatoes 28 oz
3 teaspoons Garlic minced
2 cups Chicken broth
1 tablespoon Cajun spice or more if you prefer
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 ⅓ cups Rice cooked
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients into the slow cooker aside from the rice and shrimp. Stir until well combined.
2. Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cool for about 7 hours on low heat. Make sure to stir from time to time.
3. Season the shrimp with salt, then one hour before the cooking time ends, add it into the pot as well as the rice. Stir until well mixed and cook until done.
4. Serve hot with your crusty bread. Enjoy!
