These chocolatey crinkles are amazing! Today, I craved for a sweet snack so I browsed the internet for a recipe that I could bake and I am so glad that I have stumbled upon this incredible recipe. It is so easy to make and has the simplest ingredients! These heavenly crinkles will bring a smile on your face, I am sure of that!

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, at room temperature
¾ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup white sugar
¼ cup instant coffee powder
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup white sugar
24 each dark chocolate wafers

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.

Step 2: Line with parchment paper 2 baking sheets.

Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add in the brown sugar, 1/3 cup sugar, butter, and coffee powder. Use an electric mixer to beat until well mixed and creamy.

Step 4: Add in the vanilla extract, eggs, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat until the dough is well mixed

Step 5: On a shallow plate, add 1/2 cup of sugar. Form small balls out of the dough and roll them on the sugar to coat.

Step 6: Place the balls on the lined baking sheets. Arrange them with 1-inch space between each ball.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until the sides are brown.

Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack.

Step 9: Place and press dark chocolate on each crinkle right away. Let them sit at room temperature to cool completely.

Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
