Ingredients:
1/4 c butter
1 pound ground sausage
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 pound pasta (any kind)
1 c grated parmesan
1.5 c heavy whipping cream
5 oz. spinach
Directions:
1. Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
2. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
3. Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add the sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown.
5. Add the minced garlic and sauté until aromatic. Discard any excess grease.
6. Reduce the heat down to low, then add the butter and allow it to melt.
7. Add the heavy whipping cream and stir until well blended. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes.
8. Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
9. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until well blended.
10. Add the cooked pasta and toss until well coated by the delicious sauce.
11. Garnish with your preferred herbs.
12. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use garlic powder for this recipe.
This dish is served best with breadsticks or Caesar salad. You can also try garlic bread.
