This four-ingredient crockpot buffalo chicken sandwich recipe is hard to miss! This recipe is without a doubt, one of the easiest crockpot chicken recipes I’ve made! It’s crazy delicious served on a hoagie roll, with a baked potato, or even on a salad for people watching their carbs. These buffalo chicken sandwiches are excellent for lunch, dinner, and serving a big crowd. Some of my favorite sides to pair with this mouthwatering buffalo chicken sandwich are potato chips, celery, carrot sticks, and coleslaw.
I always gravitate to slow cooker recipes. I have a list of my favorites, and this shredded buffalo chicken sandwich recipe is one of them. Cooking in the slow cooker is like magic! You throw the ingredients into the slow cooker, set it to cook, and come back to a delightful meal. This buffalo chicken sandwich never disappoints. These shredded buffalo chicken sandwiches have the perfect amount of spiciness and are packed with flavor.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
3-4 large chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs.)
1 (12 ounces) bottle of Frank’s Buffalo Wing Sauce
hoagie rolls for serving
1/2 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 2 tablespoons)
How to make Easy Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Step 1: Using non-stick cooking spray, grease your slow cooker. In the prepared slow cooker, place the chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch seasoning mix. Set to cook for 4 to 5 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
Step 2: Using two forks, shred the fully cooked chicken. I transfer the chicken to a cutting board and shred it. Then, return them to the crock pot with the juices.
Step 3: Toss in 2 tbsp of butter to the pot and let it melt. Then, stir to mix.
Step 4: Serve the buffalo chicken on hoagie rolls with drizzles of ranch dressing or with blue cheese crumbles or coleslaw. Enjoy!
