Tacos are not only an excellent dinner, but they are also perfect for parties or feeding a large crowd. This simple recipe takes out all the hard work. The best part is this taco meat stays nice and warm. If desired, you can even reheat the leftover taco meat in the crockpot.
I suggest doubling the batch. Leftover taco meat is great to make burritos, taco salad, or homemade taco bowls. Simply add black beans to the taco bowls.

3 tbsp taco seasoning
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. salsa
How to make Easy Crockpot Taco Meat
Step 1: In the crock pot, place the raw ground meat.
Step 2: On top of the meat, pour the salsa and sprinkle it with the taco seasoning mix.
Step 3: Cover with the lid and set to cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high or until the meat is no longer pink.
Step 4: Before serving, break the taco meat using a spoon.
NOTES:
About 30 minutes before serving, I break the taco meat.
In this recipe, you can also use frozen ground beef. Simply adjust the cooking time and cook for 1 hour more.
