Ingredients:
1 lb. sliced sausage
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium yellow onion minced
1 1/2 c chicken broth
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 c frozen peas thawed
1 c long-grain rice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed for this recipe.
2. Press the “Sauté” button on the Instant Pot.
3. Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
4. Add the garlic and onion. Sauté until aromatic and translucent.
5. Add the sliced sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown.
6. Add the seasonings, chicken broth, and rice. Give it a good stir until well combined.
7. Cover and seal the Instant Pot, then press the “Pressure Cook” button and cook for about 5 minutes.
8. Do a natural release, then uncover.
9. Add the thawed peas and stir until well mixed,
10. Cover the pot again and cook the peas for a few more minutes. This usually takes about 5 minutes.
11. Use a fork to fluff the rice.
12. Serve hot and enjoy!

Feel free to use your preferred rice for this recipe.
Feel free to prepare this the night before. Just place it inside an airtight container, then put it inside the freezer.
