I was never a fan of peaches, but after eating this Peach Cobbler, I think I love them! Peach tastes amazing in this cobbler. Serve it with ice cream or whipped cream, it is just pure heaven! This is a must-try recipe that you will not regret. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
filling:
1/4 c Boiling Water
1/8 tsp Cinnamon
1 c Granulated Sugar
5 Peaches, peeled and sliced (about 4 c)
topping:
1 c Milk
1 c Self-Rising Flour
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/4 tsp salt
1 c Granulated Sugar
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. In a skillet, add 1 cup sugar, peeled, sliced peaches, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of water. Stir until well mixed.
3. Place the skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high and allow the mixture to boil.
4. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.
5. Remove the skillet from the stove, then transfer the peaches into a mixing bowl.
6. Place the same skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
7. Add 4 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
8. Meanwhile, add milk, self-rising flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1 cup of sugar into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
9. Transfer the flour mixture into the skillet together with the peaches.
10. Place the skillet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
11. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
12. Serve with ice cream if you prefer. Enjoy!
Note:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge.
