This incredible cake is superb! A big thanks to my dear friend, Ivy, for this amazing recipe! Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try! You are so in for a treat! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer, by the way! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 box white cake mix
8 ounces can crush pineapple (packed in no sugar added juice)
1 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups whole, chopped, and/or crushed pecans

Directions:

Step 1: Refer to the directions provided on the package of the white cake on how to bake it.

Step 2: Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.

Step 3: Use a fork to poke small holes all over the cake.

Step 4: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 5: Add crushed pineapple together with its juice, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup of white sugar. Stir until mixed, then allow it to boil.

Step 6: Spread the mixture on top of the cake. Make sure to fill each hole.

Step 7: Add the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and butter into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.

Step 8: Add the pecans and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.

Step 9: Spread the mixture all over the cake.

Step 10: Place the cake inside the fridge to chill for 4 hours.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!

Note:

Place any leftovers inside the fridge.
