These are the best fudgy chocolate cookies! Super fudgy, incredibly chocolatey, soft, gooey, and chewy on the inside with a crispy shell. These cookies are better than brownies! If you have not tried these delightful fudgy chocolate cookies yet, you are already missing out!
These cookies are made with just a couple of simple ingredients. You are welcome to make a big batch to freeze for later. I know I would because these fudgy chocolate cookies are to die for!
Ingredients
2 large eggs
4 tablespoons (½ stick/57 grams) unsalted butter
¾ cup (150 grams/5.3 oz.) packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
⅔ cup (90 grams/3.2 oz.) all-purpose flour
8 oz./225 grams semisweet chocolate, roughly chopped
½ teaspoon baking powder
HOW TO MAKE FUDGY CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Step 2: Place the chocolate and butter in a heat-proof bowl. Melt in the microwave.
Step 3: Place the baking powder, salt, and flour in another mixing bowl. Stir well until blended.
Step 4: Into the bowl of the mixer, add the eggs along with the vanilla and brown sugar. Beat until everything is incorporated. Then, add the chocolate and butter mixer and mix well until combined. Next, add the flour mixture and beat again until just mixed.
Step 5: Onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spoon the dough mixture, leaving a bit of space between each cookie dough.
Step 6: Into the preheated oven, place the baking sheets and bake the cookies for about 12 minutes or until done.
Step 7: Take the cookies out of the oven when done and let them cool fully at room temperature.
Note:
In an airtight container, keep any leftovers and store them at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze these cookies for up to 3 months.
