This chocolate box cake is to die for! It’s one of the most impressive cakes I’ve seen and made. This giant molten chocolate box cake is everyone’s dream dessert. Seriously decadent and a giant version of my favorite lava cake.
With this recipe, we are going big! Literally, the biggest chocolate box cake I’ve seen! And the perfect lava center is mesmerizing!
Stick your knife in the center of the cake and watch as the chocolate lava glides out of the cake! It’s the best thing! Serve this with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for the dessert of a lifetime! You can also throw in some fresh strawberries if desired. When it comes to desserts, bigger is better! I know everyone will agree.

How to make Giant Molten Chocolate Box Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees C.
Step 2: Place the cake mix in a large bowl and prepare following the package directions. Into a well-greased bundt pan, pour the batter.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Step 4: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling.
Step 5: To a medium bowl, add the dark chocolate. Over the chocolate, pour the hot cream. Mix well until melted and smooth.
Step 6: Onto a serving plate, invert the bundt cake. In the center of the hole, pour the chocolate ganache, letting it overflow and cover the cake. Then, dust the cake with cocoa powder.
Step 7: Before slicing, allow the cake to sit for about 30 minutes.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
