(2) eaches of Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored and quartered
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup butter
¾ cup white sugar
1 cup of orange juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Then wrap each apple piece in one crescent roll. Put it n an 8×8 baking dish seam side down, then sprinkle it with cinnamon.
2. In a medium saucepan, add and combine butter, sugar, and orange juice, let it boil. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over rolls.
3. Bake until the pastry is golden and apples are tender for 30 minutes. Then spoon sauce over rolls when serving.
