To make these addictive bacon-wrapped little smokies, all you need are three simple ingredients; little smoked sausages, bacon, and brown sugar. These ingredients are almost always available in every home. Begin by slicing the bacon, then tightly wrapping the smokies with it. The catch is you have to keep these little smokies wrapped in bacon in the fridge for an hour before baking. But I promise the waiting is going to be worth it! Make sure to make a huge batch because these bacon-wrapped little smokies are gone way too fast!
Ingredients
1 package (14 ounces) of little smoked sausages
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 lb. bacon (not thick sliced)
Steps To Make Bacon-Wrapped Little Smokies
Step 1: Into thirds, slice the bacon.
Step 2: Around 1 little smokie, tightly wrap 1 piece of bacon. In a glass 13 x 9-inch, place the bacon-wrapped smokie, seam down. Do the same with the remaining smokies.
Step 3: On top, evenly sprinkle the brown sugar. Cover the dish and keep it in the fridge for at least an hour.
Step 4: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 5: After an hour, take the smokies out of the fridge and remove the cover. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is deeply caramelized.
