Layer after layer of good flavors, these Knock You Naked Bars are the perfect treats to serve pretty much all the time! In less than an hour, these bad boys are ready. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Bars
2 Eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Caramel Sauce
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 bag of 14 ounces of caramels
5 ounces evaporated milk
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch baking pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, add baking soda, flour, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
4. In another mixing bowl, add vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Beat until well blended.
5. Add the eggs gradually, then beat every addition until well incorporated.
6. Transfer the flour mixture into the bowl with the egg mixture, then whisk until well combined.
7. Add the chocolate chips, then stir until well mixed.
8. Transfer 1/2 of the cookie dough into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
9. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove the dough from the oven.
10. In a double boiler, melt the evaporated milk and caramels. Stir until well blended.
11. Add peanut butter, then stir until well mixed.
12. Add the mixture on top of the dough and spread it evenly.
13. Spoon the rest of the cookie dough and drop them over the caramel mixture layer.
14. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
15. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
16. Serve and enjoy!
