Oh, my! This recipe is just too perfect not to share with you, friends! For those who love cabbage, this is so awesome! You have got to give this one a try, I’m telling you! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I am sure that you can do a lot with this very simple recipe. I tried adding chilli powder in it and it was awesome! Chilli powder will surely take this cabbage recipe to the next level! You can also add meat if you want! Ingredients:
2 lbs white cabbage, core removed and shredded (10 cups)
1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp fine sea salt or more to taste
Half of a lemon, cut into wedges
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 2: Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 3: Add the garlic, cabbage, red pepper flakes, and salt.
Step 4: Stir and cook for 10 minutes or until the cabbage turns light brown.
Step 5: Squeeze 2 lemons on top of the cabbage.
Step 6: Add more salt and pepper if necessary.
Step 7: Serve hot and enjoy!
Note:
1. Slice the cabbage into four, then finely shred each cut.
2. You can also serve this dish over rice.
