Oh, my! This recipe is just too perfect not to share with you, friends! For those who love cabbage, this is so awesome! You have got to give this one a try, I’m telling you! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I am sure that you can do a lot with this very simple recipe. I tried adding chilli powder in it and it was awesome! Chilli powder will surely take this cabbage recipe to the next level! You can also add meat if you want! 2 lbs white cabbage, core removed and shredded (10 cups)
1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp fine sea salt or more to taste
Half of a lemon, cut into wedges
Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 2: Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 3: Add the garlic, cabbage, red pepper flakes, and salt.
Step 4: Stir and cook for 10 minutes or until the cabbage turns light brown.
Step 5: Squeeze 2 lemons on top of the cabbage.
Step 6: Add more salt and pepper if necessary.
Step 7: Serve hot and enjoy!
1. Slice the cabbage into four, then finely shred each cut.
2. You can also serve this dish over rice.
