1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c flour
2 Eggs, large
2 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 c granulated sugar
1/4 tsp sea salt
4 tbsp lemon juice
8 tsp lemon zest
1 c icing sugar
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
To Make the Brownies:
Step 1: Brush with butter an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Prepare the 2 lemons by juicing and squeezing them.
Step 3: Add the flour, soft butter, sugar, and salt into the bowl of an electric mixer. Beat until well blended.
Step 4: In another mixing bowl, add the lemon zest, lemon juice, and eggs. Whisk until well combined.
Step 5: Transfer the egg mixture into the flour mixture. Beat until creamy for about 2 minutes.
Step 6: Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Step 7: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until done.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
To Make the Glaze:
Step 1: Sift the powdered sugar into a mixing bowl, then add the lemon juice and zest. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 2: Spread with the glaze the whole brownies.
Step 3: Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes.
Step 4: Slice into small cuts.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
